CONFIDENCE AND SELF-ESTEEM
Sometimes confidence comes and goes especially in relation to what is going on in our lives. We can lose confidence after going through periods of anxiety, or if we aren't sleeping well. Sometimes there are reasons we don't feel self assured are rooted in past circumstances.
Is it holding you back personally or professionally? When we are at peace with ourselves, we generally feel more self assured, confidence comes from within. You may well have already achieved a lot in your life: qualifications, career experience, raised a family or perhaps built a successful business, but this does not mean you are confident.
Confidence is a state of mind where you have belief and faith in yourself, your ability, your talents and strengths. Projecting confidence helps you gain credibility, make a strong first impression, deal with pressure, and tackle personal and professional challenges. It's also an attractive trait, as projecting confidence helps put others at ease.
The good news is that change is possible. These feelings that give you a lack of confidence can be unlearned. Your ability to be confident can be rediscovered and nurtured, and Solution Focused Hypnotherapy can help you achieve your true potential.
HOW CAN HYPNOTHERAPY HELP?
Solution Focused Hypnotherapy can help with reducing stress and boosting confidence, helping you feel happier and more positive.
Solution focused techniques will then help you visualise how things will be when you are more confident: what will your goals be? I'll support you to take small steps outside of your comfort zone, and help you identify what has gone well each week. Together we'll build on each success, so that you feel more able to engage in work and/or social situations, or feel more able to work towards and achieve your goals without worry or fear.
Sessions are consolidated with hypnosis, which helps about therapeutic change at a subconscious level. I'll use guided relaxation techniques that allow your mind to become calmer, supporting you to build new helpful patterns of behaviour. You can feel more confident, positive and happy to lead the successful life you want and deserve. Later in our sessions we will use NLP (Neurolinguistic Programming) techniques such as anchoring to help you give your body calming signals in times of stress.
I practice Solution-Focused Hypnotherapy, it is an evidence-based approach that uses cognitive hypnotherapy and applied neuroscience to produce results more swiftly than many other therapeutic modalities.
This type of therapeutic hypnosis has origins in Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT). I am nearing the end of my studies with CPHT considered the gold standard in hypnotherapy training, and practising under supervision. Between now and completion, I am charging half price for sessions.
I am a certified and accredited Life Coach (by the IAPC&M), and hold a certificate in Applied Neuroscience. I am a student member of the AfSFH (Association for Solution Focussed Hypnotherapy) and NCH (National Council for Hypnotherapy) and adhere to their code of ethics.
I work from my therapy room in East Surrey or online, via zoom
