When we are worried tense or afraid, we can feel anxious or stressed. Most people feel anxious or stressed at times. It's particularly common to experience some anxiety while coping with stressful events or changes, especially if they could have a big impact on your life.

Anxiety is a natural human response when we feel that we are under threat. It can be experienced through our thoughts, feelings and physical sensations.

Anxiety may be a problem if:

  • your feelings of anxiety are very strong or last for a long time

  • your fears or worries are out of proportion to the situation

  • you avoid situations that might cause you to feel anxious

  • your worries feel very distressing or are hard to control

  • you experience panic attacks

  • you find it hard to go about your everyday life or do things you enjoy

Types of anxiety you may be suffering with:

  • General anxiety disorder (GAD)

  • Social Anxiety

  • Panic Attacks

  • IBS - considered a symptom of stress and anxiety

  • Overwhelm

  • Work/Life stress

  • OCD

  • Burnout

Solution Focused Hypnotherapy is effective at helping to break the negative cycle of anxiety and stress, so that you can regain control of your life and feel calmer, healthier and happier once again. Very often, as anxiety levels reduce, disrupted sleep patterns and many other troublesome symptoms are also alleviated. Hypnotherapy is also effective at helping you to think more positively so that you are more able to focus on the small steps that will take you in the direction of change that you want. Confidence and self-esteem also improve and clients often report that many different areas of their life improve as a result of reducing anxiety.


At our Initial Consultation I will explain what is happening in your mind and body when you feel anxious or stressed. In understanding why your body has this response and what happening to you, you'll be in a position makes steps towards your preferred response in difficult situations. During our therapy sessions, we will talk through how things have worked for you since our last meeting, establish how you would like to go forward so that you can build resilience and develop strategies to reduce anxiety and increase control. We will follow the talk therapy with hypnosis or non-sleep deep rest (NSDR)

Hypnosis creates a restful response in the body and mind, relieving stress, and over time you will absorb the positive messages helping you have reassuring control over your thoughts, reactions and behaviour. 



I practice Solution-Focused Hypnotherapy, it is an evidence-based approach that uses cognitive hypnotherapy and applied neuroscience to produce results more swiftly than many other therapeutic modalities.

This type of therapeutic hypnosis has origins in Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT). I am nearing the end of my studies with CPHT considered the gold standard in hypnotherapy training, and practising under supervision. Between now and completion, I am charging half price for sessions.  

I am a certified and accredited Life Coach (by the IAPC&M), and hold a certificate in Applied Neuroscience. I am a student member of the AfSFH (Association for Solution Focussed Hypnotherapy) and NCH (National Council for Hypnotherapy) and adhere to their code of ethics. 

I work from my therapy room in East Surrey or online, via zoom
