Specialist ADHD coaching and hypnotherapy for neurodivergent adults in Leatherhead, Surrey and online across the UK.
Support that works with your brain โ not against it
Does this sound familiar?
You're intelligent, creative, capable โ and yet somehow the ordinary stuff feels impossibly hard. You lose things, miss deadlines, forget appointments. You start things and can't finish them, or finish them in a frantic last-minute rush. You've been told to try harder, be more organised, just focus โ and you've tried, genuinely tried, and it hasn't worked.
Perhaps you've recently been diagnosed with ADHD โ and suddenly a lifetime of struggling makes sense. Or perhaps you're still waiting for an assessment, but you recognise yourself in everything you've read.
Either way, you've come to the right place. This is support designed specifically for how your brain works.
ADHD in adults: what's really going on
ADHD is a neurodevelopmental condition affecting executive function โ the brain's ability to plan, prioritise, regulate emotions, manage time and shift attention. It's not a lack of intelligence or effort. It's a difference in how the brain is wired.
In adults, ADHD often looks different to the hyperactive child stereotype. It might show up as:
Chronic overwhelm and difficulty knowing where to start
Time blindness โ losing track of time, being late, underestimating how long things take
Emotional dysregulation โ intense feelings, rejection sensitivity, frustration
Difficulty sustaining focus on tasks that aren't inherently interesting
Hyperfocus on things that are engaging, to the exclusion of everything else
Procrastination driven by anxiety rather than laziness
A persistent sense of not living up to your potential
ADHD also carries a significant anxiety burden โ many adults with ADHD develop anxiety as a secondary condition from years of struggling, masking and feeling misunderstood.
How I can help
I offer a combined approach of ADHD coaching and solution focused hypnotherapy, tailored to your individual needs and brain.
ADHD Coaching focuses on practical strategies and solutions โ working with your strengths, building systems that actually work for you, developing executive function skills, and creating accountability in a way that respects neurodiversity. We focus on where you want to get to, not on what's gone wrong.
Solution Focused Hypnotherapy works at a deeper level โ calming the nervous system, reducing the anxiety that so often accompanies ADHD, improving sleep, building confidence and reducing negative self-talk. Hypnotherapy accesses the subconscious mind where many automatic responses are programmed, supporting change at a level that conscious effort alone can't always reach.
Together, these approaches can help you:
Reduce overwhelm and anxiety
Improve focus and concentration
Build practical strategies for time management and organisation
Develop emotional regulation skills
Quiet the inner critic and build genuine self-confidence
Find a way of living and working that feels sustainable
A note on diagnosis
You don't need a formal ADHD diagnosis to work with me. Many adults are on long waiting lists or self-identifying while awaiting assessment โ and support doesn't have to wait.
If you are seeking a formal assessment, I recommend contacting Surrey Therapy Practice: surreytherapypractice.com
Access to Work funding
Did you know that ADHD coaching may be fundable through the government's Access to Work scheme?
Access to Work is a grant from the Department for Work and Pensions that can cover the cost of support for people whose health condition or disability affects their ability to work โ including ADHD coaching. It can apply whether you're employed, self-employed or about to start work.
Many people are unaware that ADHD coaching qualifies, or that the scheme exists at all. If you're in employment and struggling with ADHD at work, it's well worth exploring before assuming coaching is out of reach financially.
I am able to accept Access to Work payments for ADHD coaching sessions.
What to expect
Sessions last 50-60 minutes and are available in person in Leatherhead, Surrey and online across the UK. Online sessions work particularly well for ADHD clients โ you can access support from your own environment, without the additional demand of travel.
There is no fixed number of sessions. We work together for as long as feels useful, and the ending is led by you โ when you feel the work has reached a natural conclusion and you have the tools and strategies you need.
We start with a free 20-minute consultation to talk about what's going on and how I might best support you.
